Haeundae is a restaurant on the second floor of Noryangjin Fish Market in Seoul, where diners eat hoe and crab. Guests buy raw fish or crab on the first floor or in the market, pay a table-setting fee, and order maeuntang (spicy fish stew), snow crab ramyeon, or crab-shell fried rice as additions. When it is busy, the room is loud enough that you cannot hear the person in front of you, and the seats are close together. The maeuntang tastes thin.
