Taepyeongjib

Taepyeongjip is a soba restaurant near Geumam Rotary in Jeonju, serving soba and kongguksu. The main dishes are soba, bibim soba, and kongguksu, cold noodles in a thick soybean broth topped with soybean powder. At lunch a line can form, but entry usually takes about ten minutes, and side dishes and water are self-serve with broth refillable as much as you want. The soba broth has a strong anchovy and bandaengi aroma, which does not suit people who dislike fishy flavors.
