Suiten-gu is a shrine in central Tokyo, close to a station, where people pray for pregnancy, safe childbirth, and children's health. The grounds hold statues of a mother dog and her puppy, and visitors wash their hands before praying. Staff explain the prayer procedure, conduct rituals, and provide omikuji. Mothers, newborns, and young children visit the shrine in large numbers.
