Sapporo Shiryokan (Former Sapporo Court of Appeal)

Sapporo City Archives is a history and culture exhibition hall in the former Sapporo Court of Appeals building, at the west end of Odori Park. It displays historical materials on Sapporo, a recreation of an old criminal courthouse, and cultural works by various artists. Admission is free, and the number of visitors is low, so it can be viewed at a calm pace. Flowers bloom in the garden in front of the building, which is also used as a photo spot.
