Sapporo Korei Shinsa is a small shrine inside the grounds of Hokkaido Jingu, located between Hotaki Shinsa and Kaitaku Shinsa. It honors the spirits of people who died working in Hokkaido's coal and metal mining industries, and prayers are offered there for mining safety. It was built in 1943 and moved into the Hokkaido Jingu grounds in 1949, and its annual ceremony is held on June 25. The shrine is small, so there is not much to see.
