SAPPORO COMMUNITY PLAZA

Sapporo Shimin Koryu Plaza is a performing arts theater reached from Sapporo Station through the underground shopping area Chikaho and Aurora Town. Its multipurpose hall hosts narrated Chopin piano recitals, concerts, film screenings, and workshops, and the first floor holds Morihiko Cafe. The lobby and lounge areas have a library, a convenience store, and a cafe, along with free Wi-Fi, making them places to wait or study. Seats at the back of the first floor can be reached by escalator up to the sixth floor with almost no use of stairs.
