Odori Park Nishi 12 Chome in Sapporo is a park where flowers and roses can be seen through the four seasons. Roses are at their peak in June, and in summer a beer garden opens serving world draft beers and German food. Benches are not removed in winter and there is little bird droppings, so the park stays clean to use. Smoking is allowed throughout the park, so visitors expecting smoke-free areas will find it inconvenient.
