Chuo-ji is a Soto Zen temple in Sapporo, within walking distance of Susukino and close to Hosui-Susukino Station. Built in 1874 and moved to its current site in 1892, it has served as a base for Soto Zen in Hokkaido. The main gate holds Nio statues, along with carvings of Fujin and Raijin and carvings on the gate, and the main hall is spacious with a parking lot. Goshuin are available only in written form as a coronavirus measure.
