Terumo Shrine sits inside Nishi Park in Fukuoka and is connected to the Kuroda family. It enshrines Kuroda Kanbee and the first domain lord Kuroda Nagamasa, and dropping a coin into the offering box produces a crane call. Built in 1766, it was moved to its current site in 1909, and several kinds of goshuin are available at the office. The approach path and its stone steps are steep.
