Fukuoka Zoo and Botanical Garden

Fukuoka City Zoo and Botanical Garden is a zoo close to central Fukuoka. It combines a zoo and a botanical garden, where you can see elephants, flamingos, rhinos, hippos, giraffes, and Malayan tapirs up close. Tickets are issued at a kiosk after selecting a language. Seeing both the zoo and the botanical garden takes half a day, and the grounds have many slopes and stairs.
