Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City Park

Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City Park is a lawn rest area and event hall built between buildings in the middle of Fukuoka's downtown. Its plaza mixes artificial and natural grass, and hosts a Christmas market, beer pop-ups, and DJing wine parties. The space occupies the site of a closed elementary school, so traces of the old school appear alongside modern buildings. In the evening, many people lay out mats and picnic there.
