Ennouji Temple(An ancient and storied temple) Mountain Kenkouin Temple

Ennouji Temple is a Buddhist temple near Ohori Park, serving as the family temple of Mitsuhime, the wife of Kuroda Kanbei. It holds a market, sutra copying, and yoga on the 15th of each month, and a Benzaiten festival on July 7. The Benzaiten statue, attributed to Kobo Daishi, and a handprint on its back survived the Fukuoka air raids. The temple also handles pet memorial services and mizuko kuyo.
