Suanbo Insect Museum

SuAnbo Gonchung Bangmulgwan is a privately run museum on the outskirts of Suanbo in Chungju, showing insect specimens alongside live insects such as stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles. A couple displays insects they collected over ten years, and in the building at the entrance visitors can handle rhinoceros beetles. From the parking lot it is about a 10-minute walk up to the museum, and outdoors visitors can feed sheep, rabbits and guinea pigs and use a mini zipline. The exhibition and activity spaces are small.
