Chungju Goguryo Astronomical Observatory

Chungju Goguryeo Astronomy Science Museum sits on a small hill in Jungangtap-myeon, Chungju. During the day visitors observe the sun, and at night they learn constellations in the planetarium before viewing the moon and stars through a telescope. It is open Tuesday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and advance reservations on Naver are recommended. Stars cannot be observed when it rains.
