Sajikgol Ppyeodagwi Gamjatang Haejanguk

Sajikgol Ppyeodagwi Gamjatang Haejanguk is an old restaurant in Cheongju that serves ppyeodagwi haejangguk and gamjatang (pork bone and potato stew). The broth is thick and sweet like a gochujang base, and it comes with crisp kkakdugi. The hall is divided into seating where you take off your shoes and seating where you keep them on, and it is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. It uses little ugeoji and the broth is thick, so it is closer to a jjigae than a haejangguk.
