Jjoljjol Hotteok

Jjoljjol Hotteok is an old snack shop in Cheongju. Its hotteok has a sweet dough rather than flowing honey inside, and it is fried in oil so the outside turns crisp like a sugar coating. At the shop you can eat tteokbokki made to order and receive hotteok in the order it was placed. On weekends, waiting more than an hour for takeout hotteok alone is common.
