Hongil Saenggogi Jeonmunjeom

Hongil Saenggogi Jeonmunjeom is an old samgyeopsal restaurant near Bongmyeong Elementary School in Cheongju. It serves samgyeopsal, pork collar, and pork jowl, grilled and eaten with soy sauce in the Cheongju style. The place is a butcher shop and restaurant in one, and customers take off their shoes and sit on chairs. The pork and the cabbage and red pepper powder used for the kimchi are labeled as domestic.
