Myeonghwaok Cheongdam Sogomtang

Myunghwaok is a gomtang restaurant in Cheongdam, near K-Star Road, serving clear, rich beef soup and evening dishes. Its set menu pairs beef simmered for a long time into a transparent broth with half a plate of seasoned grilled beef or octopus carpaccio. At lunch, walk-ins are accepted, though about two parties have been seated after waiting. In the evening it also works as a casual bar, with highballs and wine or spirits by the glass.
