Acropolis of Athens

The Acropolis is a tourist site on a high hill in central Athens where stone temples such as the Parthenon remain. The surviving stone temples and the view over Athens from the top are the main points. Booking online in advance allows entry at a designated time, and entering through the south entrance makes the route easier. There is no shade, so staying long is difficult on hot days.
