Taesamyo

Gochang Taesamyo is a traditional house and shrine in central Andong. It holds the memorial tablets of the three taesa who defeated Gyeon Hwon at the founding of Goryeo, along with those of the Andong Kim, Kwon, and Jang clans. It is designated as a Gyeongsangbuk-do monument and can be visited for free. It is closer to a shrine marking Andong's history and spirit than to a tourist facility.
