Goddess Tree

Samsindang Sinmok is a zelkova tree in the center of Hahoe Village in Andong that is over 600 years old. It is a sacred tree that has protected the village, and people come here to make wishes. A ritual is held here on the morning after Jeongwol Daeboreum. The base of the trunk is thick and the tree is very large.
