Andong Municipal Museum

Andong City Museum displays the traditional folk customs and daily life of Andong, and it sits near Woryeonggyo Bridge. On its first and second floors, it shows coming-of-age, wedding, funeral and ancestral rites, folk games and local products alongside wax figures. Entry is free and viewing runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on the second floor visitors can receive brush-written words of good fortune. The exhibitions have not been updated for a long time, so they fall short of reflecting Andong's various historic sites and heritage.
