The Andong Beopheungsaji Chilcheung Jeontap is a seven-story brick pagoda from the Unified Silla period, located next to Andong Imcheonggak in Andong. Built by stacking clay bricks, it is the largest brick pagoda in Korea, and its base platform is carved with the Eight Classes of Divine Beings and the Four Heavenly Kings. The pagoda is 17 meters tall and was designated National Treasure No. 16 on December 20, 1962. Traces of cement repairs made to the lower part of the base platform during the Japanese colonial period remain on the structure.
