Samyung Restaurant

Samyung Sikdang is a local restaurant in Jeju that serves momguk (pork and gulfweed soup) alongside seafood doenjang jjigae, grilled mackerel, jeyuk bokkeum, and braised hairtail. The momguk has a spicy, deep broth that resembles sundae guk, and the seafood doenjang jjigae comes with crab in a clean-tasting broth. The grilled mackerel is cooked crisp without deep-frying, and the side dishes are served like a home-cooked meal. The interior is small and there is parking for about two cars.
