Mimiu Main Branch is a long-established Japanese restaurant in Osaka that serves soba and udon-suki together. The udon-suki is cooked at the table: vegetables and thick udon noodles go into a dashi broth, and diners boil raw shrimp themselves. The site was a ryotei until the early 1900s and has about 250 years of history. Courses that include hoe and tempura as appetizers are available, and both the courses and the udon-suki are in a high price range.
