Men'ya

Men'ya is a self-service station restaurant selling udon and soba in front of the Midosuji South Gate at Osaka Station. It serves soft Osaka udon in clear Kansai-style broth, with chicken tempura udon, inari sushi, and rice balls. Buy a meal ticket from the kiosk on the right of the entrance and hand it to the counter; food comes out in about a minute. There are standing spots and three two-person tables, and the narrow space can make the ticket-and-pickup flow crowded.
