Doutonbori Imai Hankyu Umeda

Doutonbori Imai Hankyu Umeda is an udon shop on the 12th floor of the Hankyu Umeda main store, connected to the Doutonbori main branch. Its signature dish is kitsune udon, served in a clear, cool dashi broth with sweet, thick fried tofu on top, and it also serves a pork parent-and-child dish and cold udon. Customers take a number from the machine at the entrance and wait; one case entered after about 30 minutes with 10 groups ahead. The entire restaurant floor gets crowded at lunchtime and on public holidays, which makes wait times longer.
