Ningxia Night Market sits a short distance north of Taipei Main Station and sells Taiwanese street food such as oyster omelette, stinky tofu and duck noodles alongside household goods. Its signature items are oyster omelette and taro balls, and sweet potato balls, papaya milk and pork and scallion skewers are also available. The stalls face each other in two straight rows down a central walkway, so walking to the end and back is easy. In the evening the crowd is heavy, and lines form first at the popular items; the market is smaller than Shilin Night Market, getting there in the evening is less convenient, and fruit costs more and comes in smaller portions than at Shuangcheng Street Night Market.
