The Geological Museum in Daejeon displays the history of the Earth, fossils, and minerals on the grounds of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources, near the Daejeon National Science Museum. Its exhibits include a Triceratops skull fossil at the entrance, a Tyrannosaurus skeleton, Korean mineral specimens, and the Duwon meteorite. Admission is free, and there is a hands-on space for children and guided tours. The museum is far from central Daejeon, so access is not convenient.
