The National Museum of Korea is a large museum covering Korean history and culture, located near Ichon Station. Its permanent exhibitions run from the first to the third floor, spanning the prehistoric era to the modern day, and the Bangasayusang statue is on view in the second-floor Room of Contemplation. Viewing the permanent exhibitions alone at a slow pace takes about three hours, and visitors without bags enter immediately after a belongings check. On weekends and during school holidays, crowds form and a waiting line appears.
