Tama

Tama is a Japanese restaurant in Yeouido, near The Hyundai Seoul, that serves a single menu item: eel over rice. The eel is layered thick enough to cover the rice, and it comes with gamtae, myeongnan kim, and wasabi on the side. Orders are placed at a table kiosk, and the meal also includes chawanmushi, coconut fried shrimp, and matcha ice cream, with leftover rice bowl available for takeout. On weekday evenings around 7:30 the seats fill up and a wait forms.
