Sujeong Saengtae

Sujeong Saengtae is a restaurant in the Rose Arcade in Yeouido, Seoul, specializing in saengtae-tang and raw cod soup. The saengtae-tang is made with plenty of roe and milt, and the broth gets its flavor from dried shrimp, with tender pollack flesh and steamed egg. Because there is only one menu item, ordering is finished once you state the number of people, and the steamed egg arrives before the soup boils. At busy times you may wait in a long line, and reservation confirmation or order handling is not always smooth.
