Okdoenjang Yeouido

Okdoenjang Yeouido is a Korean restaurant on the first floor of the Ilex shopping complex at Yeouido Station, serving suyuk jeongol, ureong doenjang, and ojingeo minari jeon. The mixed suyuk jeongol contains several cuts of meat, beef tendon, minari, scallions, and glass noodles, and comes with grilled gim and pa kimchi as side dishes. On a weekday lunch, the wait to get in was about ten minutes, and once the jeongol boils the heat is turned down from 9 to 1. The doenjang broth is on the salty side.
