Haedong Bokguk

Haedong Bokguk is an old pufferfish soup restaurant in Yeouido, Seoul, serving bok jiri, bok maeuntang, and fried pufferfish. The bok jiri has a light, clean broth with generous pieces of plump pufferfish, and the pufferfish skin salad comes with minari and a sour dressing. At lunch there can be a line or a wait, and dishes can take time to arrive. The dining room is small, so the whole party must be present before being seated.
