ALT.1

ALT.1 is a small art museum on the sixth floor of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul, hosting exhibitions of overseas art. It has shown a Toledo Museum of Art collection including Rembrandt, Goya, Turner and Delacroix, as well as an Alphonse Mucha exhibition. On weekday afternoons the galleries can be viewed at an easy pace, but on weekends lines run from on-site ticket sales to the front of Monet's Water Lilies. The exhibition space itself is narrow, which makes it hard to look at the works slowly.
