Cafe Taebaeksanmaek sits on a hill in the fishing village of Soho-dong in Yeosu, in a traditional hanok used as both a cafe and a bar. From it you can look out over Soho Harbor and the Ungcheon coast while eating pajeon and seodae hoe muchim and drinking Taebaeksanju dongdongju. At the entrance you order simple tea, while dongdongju is drunk in a separate room past the corridor and jujube tea is brewed for three to seven days in a large pot. It is a place for spending time slowly, so it does not suit a quick cafe stop.
