Ongsimi

Ongsimi is a noodle shop in the back alleys of Hongdae, Seoul, serving chewy potato ongsimi and buckwheat kalguksu. The broth carries a strong perilla seed aroma, and the ongsimi and soft buckwheat kalguksu come with barley rice mixed with yeolmu and musaengchae. In winter there is a wait, so arriving at opening time is necessary. At lunch the portions are small and the noodles go soft.
