Junghwa Bokchun Gongwon is a basement Chinese restaurant near Yeonnam Police Station, a five-minute walk from Hongdae Station Exit 3. It serves dishes such as cotton candy cream shrimp, jjambbong, and eohyang gaji, with a menu that also covers duck dishes, rajji, yangjangpi, and jeongabok. The jjambbong comes with seafood and generous ingredients carrying wok hei, and the cotton candy cream shrimp is served with a sweet-and-sour cream sauce and a glutinous rice batter. The jjambbong and gaji deopbap are on the strongly spicy side.
