Jeongdo Nuts Headquarters in Yeongju is a donut shop known for its ginger donuts, made with a rice dough. The ginger donuts are topped generously with ginger garnish, while toppings such as perilla seeds, green onion, and garlic let the ingredient flavors come through, and the rice dough gives them a chewy texture. The main branch near Punggi Station closes on Mondays, and when the donuts sell out early it can be found there; it has easier parking and more varieties than the main branch. The donuts hold little filling, so they do not suit anyone expecting red bean paste or anko.
