Yeongdeungpo Hamhung Cold Noodles

Hamhung Naengmyeon is a naengmyeon restaurant near Yeongdeungpo Market, a six-minute walk from Exit 5 of Yeongdeungpo Station, and it opened in 1967. Its signature dish, hoe naengmyeon, is a bibim naengmyeon of chewy noodles mixed with hoe muchim and a spicy seasoning. Before the meal, onyuksu is served in a kettle, and the hoe naengmyeon is eaten by mixing in cold meat broth after about half of it has been finished. The spiciness of the hoe naengmyeon is on the strong side.
