Seounam

Seounam is a Buddhist hermitage within the grounds of Tongdosa in Yangsan, selling jang. Handmade doenjang, gochujang and ganjang can be ordered by delivery, and rows of onggi jars line the entrance. Walking from Tongdosa takes about 30 minutes, and there is a wide yard with several parking lots and views of the Yeongchwisan ridge. The steep uphill section makes the climb difficult for people with leg problems.
