Ogcheonjib

Okcheonjip is a restaurant in Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, serving Chungcheong-style barley rice and cheonggukjang. The barley rice mixes rice and barley in equal parts, and diners mix in cheonggukjang, gangdoenjang, and house-made gochujang to taste, with jeyuk bokkeum and kimchi stew as additions. Around 2 p.m. six or so tables have customers, and the rice comes in a deep bowl filled to the top. The restaurant sits in a residential alley, so parking is inconvenient and the public road parking lot must be used.
