Eobu Blues Mokdong is a Japanese restaurant near Omokgyo Station that serves aged hoe and set meals. It cuts sea bream, yellowtail and flounder fin into thick slices to bring out the chewy texture and savory depth of the aged raw fish. The chef learned live-fish aging methods from a chef trained at a Japanese kaiseki restaurant with 50 years of tradition. The hoe comes with seasoned rice, seaweed and wasabi so it can be eaten like sushi, and a sea bream doenjang ramen is served to finish.
