Sinchon Makguksu

Sinchon Makguksu is a Gangwon regional restaurant near Gwanseol Elementary School in Gwanseol-dong, Wonju, serving makguksu, ongsimi kalguksu, and memil buchim. The bibim makguksu is lightly seasoned with chewy noodles, and the memil buchim is soft. On a Sunday at 1 p.m. the wait was 30 minutes, and long lines form at lunch on holidays. The makguksu tastes ordinary, and the shop gets crowded when customers gather.
