Hanokmun Kkoji

Hanokmun Kkochi is a street food stall in Jeonju Hanok Village selling chicken skewers, shrimp skewers and octopus skewers. The octopus skewers come in mild or spicy versions, with smoke and sauce worked into the meat. There is no printed menu, so you have to ask, and each skewer is grilled one at a time over the fire. Arriving around the 10 a.m. opening avoids the line, and eating standing up is awkward because the food is on skewers.
