The Statue of Peace in Jeonju stands between Pungnammun Gate and Hanok Village. A civic group erected it on the old Jeonju fortress site, and a monument honoring peace stands to its left. It occupies a spot that greets visitors entering Hanok Village, so the sculpture known from photographs can be seen in person. As a place honoring peace, expecting only a light tourist stop can weigh on you.
