Omokdae is a historic site in Jeonju that looks down over the tiled roofs of Hanok Village. It is the place where Taejo Yi Seong-gye held a feast with his kinsmen after defeating Japanese raiders, and today it is a spot for viewing Hanok Village from above. The path leading up from Hanok Village or Jaman Village mixes stairs and inclines, with dense tree shade where you can rest along the way. Trees block the view, so the whole of Hanok Village is not visible at once.
