Catholic Chimyongjasan Shrine World Peace Hall

The Catholic holy site on Chimyongsan in Jeonju includes the World Peace Hall and serves as lodging and retreat space. The tombs of Blessed Augustine Yu Hang-geom and six family members, martyred in the 1801 Sinyu Persecution, are here, and the site's history began in 1914 when they were moved to the summit of Seungamsan. The grounds have lodging facilities used for retreats and meetings, along with landscaping and geese. Tourist buses and pilgrimage groups visit the site.
