Togakushi is a soba restaurant in Arashiyama, Kyoto, across the bridge from the area where tourists gather. The lunch set comes with zaru soba or udon, rice topped with minced meat and seaweed, three pieces of fried chicken, and one piece of fried oden. Past a small courtyard at the back, seating is in a traditional house-style room on the floor, with a view out the window. The raw liver on top of the set rice has a texture unfamiliar to Korean palates.
