Nishiki

Nishiki is a Japanese restaurant in Arashiyama, Kyoto, serving traditional kaiseki. The main menu changes with the seasons, and dishes include fried fish cake shaped like a chestnut burr and almonds shaped like a pine cone. At lunch, one basic course is ordered, with additional dishes available if it is not enough. The basic course is small in portion and does not satisfy big eaters.
